I'm T! I'm an MS1 at the University of Pennsylvania's Perelman School of Medicine; I went from scoring a 509 on the MCAT to scoring 526 (100th percentile), and together, we can use the techniques and study materials I developed to boost your score by an average of 15 points.

I firmly believe that anyone can do well on the MCAT, but achieving your dream score requires mastering the material, learning the best strategies to solve each type of question you might encounter, and developing your reasoning ability. Together, we will take an objective look at your approach to each type of question and your current level of knowledge and develop a full curriculum of study resources, practice, and instruction so that you will be able to effortlessly handle anything the MCAT throws at you on test day.

My students average a 15 point increase in their scores with only 15-20 hours of instruction spread across 6-12 weeks of study. I increased my score by 17 points in only six weeks of dedicated studying; by using my proven analytical techniques and finding the best study resources together, I firmly believe that anyone can see a similar improvement.

I spend most of our face-to-face time together working through each type of MCAT problem together; based on your learning style, I then recommend specific study materials and study plans that will help you most. As a subject matter expert for each section and topic, I also ensure that you have mastered all the content you need in order to excel on test day.

This problem-oriented approach derives from my extensive prior teaching experience. I spent two years in Romania teaching English as a second language, both one-on-one and in a classroom setting, followed by a year of teaching cell biology as a TA and another year as a private tutor. After I took the MCAT, I began teaching MCAT strategy and content full-time, until I started medical school.

MCAT Test Date: 5/28/2021, 526, C/P: 131, CARS: 132, B/B: 131, P/S: 131

Effective and Intelligent Tutoring

I have only excellent things to say about Peterson and his teaching. He is one of the most efficient and effective tutors I've worked with, and I'm certain his approach to MCAT preparation will maximize my scoring potential. He has an exceptionally robust knowledge base both in content review and testing strategy 11/10 tutor, I strongly recommend Peterson for MCAT prep. He is worth every cent of his time.

Best. Tutor. Ever.

By far the best tutor I have ever had the good fortune to come across and I am so thankful to have him as my tutor. He is insanely bright and intelligent, yet can explain concepts in the clearest and most straight-forward way. In writing this review, I was given three prompts and I would like to go through each: What has Peterson taught me? My answer would be what has he not taught me. Peterson is so much more than just a subject-based tutor. Not only has he given me an invaluable skill-set to tackle the arduous MCAT, but he has also given me insight on how to navigate the treacherous seas of the medical school application process in general. What do I like about Peterson's tutoring? Everything. Peterson embodies everything one would want in a tutor because he is a kind and compassionate individual. He realizes that students are still people and that we are more than our academic endeavors. Life has a funny way of interfering in the best laid plans, and not only does Peterson understand that, he truly cares and wants to help students balance life with studies in any and every capacity that he can. What has he helped me accomplish? When I first signed on with Peterson, I thought he would just be helping me with studying for the MCAT. I could have not been more wrong. This guy single-handedly got me through the primary application process and for that I am so grateful. He has also given me the encouragement I've needed when I am feeling down and has been encouraging at every step of this process. Regardless of where you are/what you need help with, Peterson will ensure your personal success; I promise he will deliver tenfold!
