I've mostly taught students on a one on one basis in both online and in-person settings. I've tutored middle school Math one on one, tutored ESL in a group setting, and volunteered as an English teacher in a classroom setting as well.
From being both a student and a teacher, I’ve experienced that students learn best when the instructor can break down complex topics into straightforward, key points followed by an explanation that is easy to understand. If you're having trouble with a subject, it's not because the subject is boring or because you're incompetent, it's simply because you haven't deeply understood the topic yet. Once you do, learning becomes fun and easy!
