Hey, I’m Sea Bass! (Yes, like the fish.)
At the University of Pennsylvania, I am an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine where my favorite part of the job is teaching. Over the past decade, I’ve worked with nearly 100 medical students in small-group and one-on-one settings, logging hundreds of hours of formal, interactive instruction—not to mention thousands of hours of clinical teaching. In terms of the standard curriculum vitae stuff... I went to college at Princeton University (2012). I then graduated medical school at University of Vermont (2019). Thereafter, I did my Internal Medicine training at Duke University (2022). Next, I completed a nephrology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania (2024). Now, I am faculty at the University of Pennsylvania, where I am excited to serve as a medical educator (and your new favorite mentor!)
In very general terms, I help doctors become dope!
So, let’s define what being dope means to you. You likely want to optimize your strategy for the boards (USMLE Step 2 or 3). Maybe you also want to master clinical knowledge for the wards (NBME shelves + clerkships). Perhaps you are hoping to refine your communication skills to improve patient interactions and upcoming residency interviews. Or, you instead might be looking to polish your residency application with expert coaching.
I would love to collaborate - whether you need a tutor, coach, or consultant, I’m here to help you level up.
Just reach out and let me know how we can work together!
