As a dedicated and passionate medical student approaching graduation from Jefferson Medical College, I bring extensive academic knowledge coupled with real-world clinical and teaching experiences to my tutoring approach. My educational journey has included rigorous training in medicine, with particular emphasis on complex subjects such as anatomy, physiology, neuroscience, and radiology. Throughout my medical education, I've consistently translated challenging concepts into understandable, relatable information, empowering students to master difficult material confidently.

My experience extends beyond traditional academics; I've actively engaged in tutoring students at various educational stages—from high school through medical school—in both one-on-one and small-group settings. As an upper-year medical student leader for JeffHOPE, I've mentored peers and junior students, providing guidance on both clinical skills and medical theory. My tutoring methods focus on building foundational understanding through clear explanations, interactive discussion, and step-by-step problem-solving, tailored to match each student's unique learning style.

In addition to my teaching experience, I have a robust track record in academic research, with numerous published manuscripts and abstracts in reputable medical journals. This background allows me to support students not only in mastering core subject matter but also in developing essential academic skills such as scientific writing, research design, and critical analysis. My ultimate goal as a tutor is to foster an environment of enthusiasm, curiosity, and self-confidence, ensuring that each student feels supported and empowered to achieve their educational aspirations.

As a current medical student who gained admission to a competitive MD program, I understand exactly what admissions committees look for during interviews. I specialize in helping applicants craft compelling personal narratives, confidently navigate ethical scenarios and MMI formats, and respond to common (and uncommon) questions with authenticity and professionalism. I’ve worked with both traditional and non-traditional applicants to improve delivery, refine content, and reduce anxiety. Whether you’re aiming for MD or DO programs, I’ll help you approach your interviews with strategy and confidence.

Neuroscience

Neuroscience

I graduated with honors in neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania, where I developed a strong foundation in systems neuroscience, neuroanatomy, and cognitive science. My academic background includes both coursework and research in advanced topics such as brain imaging, neuroplasticity, and neurodegenerative disease. I’ve tutored students in neuroscience at both the high school and undergraduate level, helping break down complex material into digestible, high-yield concepts. Whether you’re tackling introductory neuro or diving into more advanced topics, I’ll help you master the material with confidence.
Personal Statements

I’m a current medical student who was accepted to a top-tier MD program with a personal statement that highlighted resilience, purpose, and individuality. I’ve helped dozens of applicants brainstorm, draft, and refine compelling personal statements for medical school, research programs, and scholarships. My approach focuses on storytelling that is both authentic and strategic—emphasizing your unique voice while aligning with what admissions committees look for. Whether you’re starting from scratch or need high-level editing, I’ll help you transform your story into a powerful, polished narrative.

As a fourth-year medical student, I have successfully completed advanced coursework in pharmacology and applied this knowledge extensively during clinical rotations. My strong foundation includes detailed understanding of drug mechanisms, clinical applications, and therapeutic strategies. I’ve also assisted peers and junior students in mastering pharmacological concepts through personalized tutoring methods focused on practical, clinical integration. My goal is to help students master pharmacology concepts clearly and confidently.

Great Step 1 Tutor!

Eric was instrumental in helping me improve my Step 1 performance. When I started working with him, I was struggling with borderline passing scores on my NBMEs, but through his structured approach and deep understanding of NBME-style questions, he helped me break them down efficiently and strategically. This allowed me to score in the strong passing range. Beyond just question analysis, Eric also helped me develop a focused study plan for my final week of dedicated prep—one that I felt truly confident in. His guidance not only improved my scores but also gave me the confidence I needed going into the exam. If you're looking for a Step 1 tutor who understands the test inside and out and can tailor a plan to your needs, I highly recommend working with Eric!

Med School personal statement

I originally went to a writing coach regarding my personal statement for med school but once the rough draft was finished I hated it and thought of starting from scratch. I was looking around for other writing coaches to help and came across a message sent by Eric and was a little hesitant at first because of the few ratings and reviews but took the chance and it was the best decision I could’ve made. We didn’t start my statement from scratch again he was able to completely transform the draft I already had to something incredible that I absolutely loved. He wasted no time and is very efficient in what he does. I would recommend Eric without hesitation to absolutely anybody struggling with their personal statement, work/activity section and secondary application questions.
