Hi, I'm Megan! I hold a bachelor's degree in global studies, minors in political science and Arabic, and a certificate in English language teaching - a very eclectic combination! I am passionate about teaching and connecting through quality and tailored learning.
My professional teaching and tutoring experience is broad and includes working with elementary and middle school, college, and adult learners. I hold two and a half years of professional experience tutoring college and adult learners in reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and conversational English. I also co-taught an in-person course to college freshmen for two years, as well as an online pre-literate and beginner ESL course for English language learners. I have worked with elementary- and middle school-aged students in many settings, including at a science summer camp, after-school literacy center, and after-school running program. I am currently an assistant math and science teacher working with fifth and sixth grade students.
