Hi, I’m Whitney! I have a strong background in math and science and love helping students build confidence in these subjects. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2021, where I studied Anthropology, Forensic Science, and completed the pre-med curriculum. I then earned my Master’s in Biophysics & Physiology from Georgetown University before starting medical school at Drexel University College of Medicine. My education has given me a deep understanding of math and science, and I enjoy breaking down complex topics into simple, relatable concepts that make learning fun and engaging.

I have experience tutoring students from 4th through 11th grade, many of whom attend top private schools in the Washington, DC area. I specialize in math and science, including pre-algebra, algebra I & II, biology, and chemistry. My tutoring approach focuses on building a strong foundation, strengthening problem-solving skills, and helping students stay organized. I tailor my teaching style to each student’s needs, using real-world examples to make difficult concepts easier to understand. I’ve worked with students one-on-one to prepare for exams, tackle challenging assignments, and even complete science fair projects!

Most importantly, I know that every student learns differently. My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and excited to learn. Whether your child needs help catching up, wants to get ahead, or just needs extra guidance, I’m here to make math and science more approachable and enjoyable!
