My name is Danny, a current Philadelphia resident and scholar with a BA in English Studies, an MA in Mass Media and Communications, and years of experience tutoring, proofreading, and editing.
I got my start as a writing tutor at Moravian University (then Moravian College), where my degree focus was on Academic Writing, Creative Writing (fiction and non-fiction), and Literary Analysis. I find these disciplines to be excellent frames for even younger students to understand, improving standardized test scores and dramatically improving college acceptance and preparation rates. I have continued tutoring throughout the years, and held positions as a Managing Editor at a number of mid-size publications, as well as serving as the Communications and Media Director in a corporate environment.
I work with all disciplines, but am especially proficient in essay writing/proofreading, college essay writing, and literature, with additional specialization in Mass Communication, contemporary theory, and practical writing applications.
