I have 6+ years of tutoring experience both pro bono and privately and have worked with a variety of students ranging from middle school to well after college with varying degrees of English language proficiency and educational backgrounds. My tutoring experience consists of three major areas: traditional school tutoring, test prep, and application aid.
In my school tutoring experience, I have significant experience teaching Science (biology, biochemistry, chemistry, ecology) and English (essay writing, reading comprehension) ranging from 6th grade to college level Science and English classes.
In terms of test prep, I have significant experience preparing students for both the SAT and the MCAT and have helped bring clients' scores up several hundred points on the SAT and between 20-30 percentile points up on their MCAT scores!
Lastly, I have assisted many clients in applying to both college and medical school, and believe the best approach is one that tailors essay writing, application tailoring, and interview prep into one holistic process that helps present a unified and unique story for every client.
