I am also an adjunct professor at St. Joseph's University on Tues/Wed nights, where I teach non-majors biology course. That kind of course covers most biology topics but with the idea that my students are *not* biology majors, rather they are communications or business majors, as an example. Therefore, I know how to teach biology to those that love it and to those that...well...are taking it as an elective.
I not a typical biology professor in that I am lighthearted, fun, and easily approached. I don't act like or seem like your typical science nerd, but, believe me, I truly am! I believe in having fun above all else while learning.
