Instant increase in CARS confidence and performance
I was 2 weeks out from my MCAT test date when I realized I was struggling with CARS, as my scores had been inconsistent and I did not have a strong strategy for solving passages. I found Clarissa and she was able to set up a session with me with less than 24 hours of notice. Clarissa was extremely friendly and encouraging. I explained what I had been struggling with, and she went through a passage with me to come up with a strategy I could employ, which helped me to gain my confidence back. I already went from a 123 to a 127 in 4 days, during which I met with Clarissa. I have also been performing better on practice passages and feel much more comfortable completing them. Very helpful and amazing tutor!
I highly recommend Clarissa as a tutor!! I've been meeting with her for support on CARS, and I really appreciate how she walks through the passages and questions to ensure my understanding! I also really liked how during our first session, she took the time to understand how I usually approached the passages and then offered a new technique, which has really changed the game for me! She is very patient and kind, and I couldn't recommend her enough!

Clarissa does a great job in ensuring you understand the concepts that she is teaching. I like that she walks through the passages in CARS with you and help you understand rather than giving you the answer. I really like her a lot as she is patient and will answer my questions, during or after the lesson.

Extremely helpful and super nice, reassuring tutor
Clarissa has been helping me with CARS for the MCAT for a few months, helping me have a major breakthrough with that section. I originally started out getting a 123 on cars and after all my work with her I've been getting in the 127-130 ranges on my practice tests. With this being my weakest section on any standardized test I almost just gave up but she truly was so helpful and noticed patterns in my answer choices. When we reviewed passages she never made me feel bad about any questions and really helped with my confidence, as well as giving me helpful tricks for this section, along with general advice thats helped me score in the 515-516 range! Definitely recommend working with her if you struggle with cars!!!
