Peterson was instrumental in my preparation for the MCAT. He was very flexible and always came prepared for our lessons with plenty of supplemental problems and resources on hand for when I wanted more practice. He was also super helpful in determining which resources to use for studying. Additionally, Peterson is super compassionate and funny, making sessions something I looked forward to. Peterson's style of tutoring is unique in that he teaches you how to tackle any problem you might face by using strategies that help you focus on what the question is truly asking. Rather than lessons on pure content, he helps to build reasoning skills essential for interpreting passages and successfully choosing between those last two answer choices. After meeting approximately weekly for a month and a half, I was able to score a 523 on test day and cannot thank Peterson enough for his role in this process. I would highly recommend him as a tutor for those who have a good grasp on the content but want to get those last few points and truly differentiate themselves from the rest.

I messaged T five weeks before my MCAT and he responded within 15 minutes. 2 days later we had our first lesson, and after 10 minutes, I knew I was in good hands. T possesses a wealth of knowledge and strategy that he is eager to share. You can tell immediately he has such a solid understanding of how the MCAT works and the most efficient ways to approach each section/topic. He was able to infer right away what I needed, and wasted no time. After my first lesson, my approach to the CARs section changed because he gave me the tools and a perspective that I could implement right away. The best part is how familiar he is with all of the resources out there, especially the AAMC materials. I would ask him about a vague question about something I saw on an AAMC FL and within seconds he knew exactly which passage I was referencing. T has been an incredible tutor and mentor throughout the latter part of my journey to medical school. After taking the MCAT, I found myself unable to increase my score through my own studying methods, leaving me unsure of where I lacked. During our very first lesson, T took the time to grasp my needs and understand where I stood in my MCAT studying process. He understood how I had been studying and identified my areas of struggle. He tackled a few passages with me during our first session. This allowed me to demonstrate how I approach each passage and later create a plan for further study, rather than receiving a generic study plan. Furthermore, T was flexible with the timing of his tutoring sessions. Balancing my undergraduate degree with work commitments, his flexibility enabled me to schedule my studying and tutoring sessions around my busy timetable. Before T, I've tried out a few different MCAT tutors but he was by far the best one I had. He is willing to go above and beyond to target the areas you specifically need. When I was approaching my exam date he was amazing about scheduling lessons on short notice to make sure I got all of the information I needed for test day. I was especially weak in physics and he tailored several lessons in that topic and was even very patient with me when I did not understand some concepts so easily. He even gave me several tips and resources for dealing with exam day stress. I would highly recommend him, especially if you have been struggling with finding the right resources for the MCAT for a long time as I was when I started tutoring with him.
