I am a recent University of Pennsylvania graduate with a B.A. in biology and minors in chemistry and English. After having graduated magna cum laude, I plan to apply to law school where I can further apply my writing and argumentative skills.

Through my undergraduate years, I helped multiple senior high school students on their college admissions essays from their inception to their submission while at an educational consulting firm. Specifically, I aided them with brainstorming, editing/proofreading, and tailoring their essays towards the institutions to which they were applying. Here, I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know a student's interests and experiences and integrating them into a compelling story to be told to admissions committees while abstaining from the "status quo"—essays should be not only compelling but also unique! (After all, many will write about their experiences with their National Honor Society project, for example.) No matter the story, it shall stand out among the rest in the end.

Apart from this, I was heavily involved in immunological research as an undergraduate and was ultimately published in an academic journal while maintaining a writing-intensive workload. I also have extensive experience writing scientific lab reports and essays from my undergraduate career.

I look forward to helping students produce grammatically and structurally flawless essays and, in so doing, teaching grammar rules and writing techniques that can be used not just for a given paper, but for years to come.

In summary, I generally work with high school students: I happily proofread and advise on the contents, structure, grammar, and formatting (including citations) of college admissions essays and essays, written labs, and written discussions in high school STEM subjects (including, but not limited to, biology, chemistry, and mathematics). I will gladly help with English and history essays as well, but with a primary focus on grammar, structure, and formatting in this context.
