Hi! I'm a fourth year medical student at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. I spent the last four years working very hard to become one of the top-ranked students in my class, and I am interviewing at some of the most competitive anesthesiology residencies in the country. I took a hiatus from tutoring to focus on building my medical school career, but I have experience tutoring subjects ranging from advanced college math and science courses to elementary classes. I am now shifting my focus to medical school tutoring as I believe it is my strongest skillset.
My class rank was determined by my performance on both the pre-clinical and clinical curriculum. I excelled in all of the medical school science courses by prioritizing essential content without relying on an overload of outside resources.
Although Step 1 is now a pass/fail exam, I believe that developing strong study habits early on is essential to succeeding on the NBME Shelf exams and Step 2. I scored very well on all of the Shelf exams and >95th%ile on Step 2 using simple study strategies.
During my time in medical school, I have maintained an excellent work life balance and even got married last year. Medical school courses and exams are very challenging, but I am here to show you that you can do it!
