I am a certified science teacher with more than six years of classroom experience and a Master’s degree in Biology Education. I currently teach high school science and have taught a variety of courses including life science, biology, environmental science, and anatomy and physiology. Working with students every day allows me to understand the challenges many learners face in science and how to break complex topics into clear, understandable steps.
My tutoring sessions are focused on building both understanding and confidence. I help middle school and high school students review class material, prepare for quizzes and exams, complete assignments, and strengthen study skills. I specialize in explaining difficult concepts in ways that make sense to each individual student, whether they learn best through visuals, discussion, or practice problems.
Because I am actively teaching in the classroom, I stay familiar with current curriculum expectations and the skills students need to succeed in science courses. My goal is to create a supportive, low-pressure learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing a deeper understanding of the material. Whether a student needs help improving their grades, preparing for a test, or simply gaining confidence in science, I tailor each session to their specific needs and goals.
