I have directly taught middle school, high school, and college Math classes, including pre-algebra, algebra, intermediate algebra, geometry, SAT and GMAT test prep, enrichment STEM topics, coached MATHCOUNTS and tutored - I realize everything is built on 4 operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) and 4 types of numbers (whole number, fraction, decimal, and percent). For many people, their math foundation skills are more like Swiss cheese. Somewhere, there is weak or missing piece which means you have to limp along when working on new problems.
Together, you will learn any missing skills and grow your confidence in mathematics.
I earned my Master's Degree in the Art of Teaching Mathematics from Boston University in 1995. My Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and French is from Marymount of Fordham. I was awarded top honors from both institutions. I also attended L"Universite de Grenoble for a year.
Numeracy is a life skill for everyone, including you! I am here to help you.
