I am a CPA with a Bachelor's in Accountancy and a Master's in Business Administration, bringing over 30 years of experience in public accounting, auditing, financial reporting, and technical accounting research. Presently, I teach financial accounting, an undergraduate course, as an adjunct faculty member, using both in-person classes and virtual sessions as needed. I'm located in the East Coast region and work with students from all over the US in different time zone.
I support high school, college and graduate students in mastering accounting and auditing topics with depth and practicality. My instruction covers a range of areas, including high school and college coursework support (clarifying textbook materials, enhancing conceptual understanding, homework assistance, and exam preparation), and career and professional skills (coaching for accounting careers, practical insights, and guidance for early-career accountants and interns).
I encourage questions, promote critical thinking, and ensure students grasp the material before advancing. My goal is to help students feel confident and equipped to succeed, whether that means completing their homework assignment, improving grades, passing tough exams, or gaining a deeper understanding of accounting. I love helping and coaching students build confidence. I work with students from a wide range of backgrounds and tailor my teaching style to how each student learns best, their goals and learning pace.
