Greetings!
My name is Geoff, and I am a passionate and experienced educator with 10 years of teaching experience, including 9 years as an online high school teacher. I graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education, specializing in Biology. Upon graduation, I passed the Praxis exam in the top 15th percentile, earning the the ETS Recognition of Excellence Award in Biology.

My teaching career began in Palm Beach County, Florida, where I taught 10th-grade Biology. I then returned to Pennsylvania to teach Advanced Placement (AP) Biology and Environmental Science at the high school level. In addition to my classroom experience, I have also worked as an online tutor on other platforms, further honing my ability to support students in virtual learning environments.

With nearly a decade of online teaching experience, I understand the challenges that virtual learning can bring. However, I am confident in my ability to create a dynamic and engaging learning experience where students can thrive. I strongly believe that education is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Every learner has unique needs, learning styles, and goals. While I take pride in my deep content knowledge, my greatest strength lies in tailoring my teaching methods to meet students where they are and helping them reach their full potential.
