I am hopeful I will make your learning both satisfying as well as fun! I am a certified teacher in Pennsylvania and Texas. In addition, I hold two masters degrees from Wilkes University. One is in technology and the other is in leadership. I have taught middle school math and science for more than 20 years. I understand the mindset of this level of student. I have also tutored students in algebra and geometry. Having served as my school district's math specialist, I am familiar with the requirements needed to be successful on standardized tests. In addition, I have done extensive private tutoring and enjoy the satisfaction gained when my student "gets it!" My tutoring on Wyzant for the most part is online delivery. I am looking forward to this opportunity to help you, my future student.

I have a knack for "reading my students" and will not allow them to reach their frustration point. Fabulous Tutor!

As my son began high school this year, he was returning to "real" school after having gone through the Covid mess that last few years like many other students. Although our son is smart, he really missed out in the last few years in developing the skills needed to study and learn. We found that he was getting more and more frustrated with his studies, because he didn't know how to study and prepare. This lead to him not getting assignments done and falling further behind. Ms. Pam has been a Godsent! She showed him how to not only study, but also set up a plan to be successful in getting things done. The cherry on top is that Ms. Pam seems to be a wiz at just about any subject that he is studying. Our son's grades have improved dramatically, but what has improved even more is his attitude towards school and his frustration level with his studies is now non-existent. It is frustrating to a parent when you know your child can do it but just doesn't know how. Ms. Pam has been the perfect match for our son. We have not heard him complain once about having a tutoring session with Ms. Pam. On the contrary, I think he really looks forward to his time with her and enjoys sharing his successes with her. Ms. Pam is worth her weight in gold! Don't hesitate to contact her. Your only complaint will be that you didn't find her sooner.
