I am hopeful I will make your learning both satisfying as well as fun! I am a certified teacher in Pennsylvania and Texas. In addition, I hold two masters degrees from Wilkes University. One is in technology and the other is in leadership. I have taught middle school math and science for more than 20 years. I understand the mindset of this level of student. I have also tutored students in algebra and geometry. Having served as my school district's math specialist, I am familiar with the requirements needed to be successful on standardized tests. In addition, I have done extensive private tutoring and enjoy the satisfaction gained when my student "gets it!" My tutoring on Wyzant for the most part is online delivery. I am looking forward to this opportunity to help you, my future student.
My ability to listen and desire to understand you and where you might be stuck, make me an outstanding tutor. I have extensive experiences in techniques that work and am willing to try various approaches to suit your needs. I will start with the basics and from where you are solid in your understanding while also addressing your immediate learning needs.
I have successfully tutored students who have been enrolled in cyber-school programs. I am willing to go above and beyond for my students.

Pam did an excellent job taking my son from a 67% test score up to a 98% year end grade. I couldn't be happier! My son is now in the National Junior Honor Society, and I can thank Pam for all her Math help.

Excellent tutor, genuinely cares!!

Pam has been tutoring my son (high school) in math for over a year and a half now, and she has been a total life saver. He was behind from the Covid era through middle school and really always had struggled in math. Pam has from day one given him grace, patience and the confidence to know he can succeed and that he will get to where he needs to be. We are incredibly grateful to have found such a wonderful tutor on Wyzant and highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a math tutor.

Wonderful Math Tutor !

Pam has been helping Akshaini for 3 years now and all we can say is a big gratitude. We have seen Akshaini from absolutely dreading math to excelling and enjoying the subject. This transformation has been largely because of Pam’s efforts and patience with Akshaini. We highly recommend Pam to any student who may be having similar challenges in math or looking to make progress in the subject. Thank you Pam !!

Fabulous Tutor!

As my son began high school this year, he was returning to "real" school after having gone through the Covid mess that last few years like many other students. Although our son is smart, he really missed out in the last few years in developing the skills needed to study and learn. We found that he was getting more and more frustrated with his studies, because he didn't know how to study and prepare. This lead to him not getting assignments done and falling further behind. Ms. Pam has been a Godsent! She showed him how to not only study, but also set up a plan to be successful in getting things done. The cherry on top is that Ms. Pam seems to be a wiz at just about any subject that he is studying. Our son's grades have improved dramatically, but what has improved even more is his attitude towards school and his frustration level with his studies is now non-existent. It is frustrating to a parent when you know your child can do it but just doesn't know how. Ms. Pam has been the perfect match for our son. We have not heard him complain once about having a tutoring session with Ms. Pam. On the contrary, I think he really looks forward to his time with her and enjoys sharing his successes with her. Ms. Pam is worth her weight in gold! Don't hesitate to contact her. Your only complaint will be that you didn't find her sooner.
