Hi, I’m Chase. I became an MCAT tutor because I know how overwhelming and high-pressure this process can feel, especially for students who do not come from a traditional pre-med background or who lack built-in mentorship. I had to figure out the MCAT largely on my own, and that experience shapes how I teach today: with clarity, structure, and an emphasis on building real confidence.

I work with students at all stages, including non-traditional applicants, retakers, ESL learners, students with learning differences, and high-scorers aiming for elite results. For some students, progress comes from finally understanding difficult science content. For others, it comes from improving timing, managing burnout, or breaking through a score plateau. Effective MCAT prep requires all of these, not just content review.

What students value most is that they leave sessions knowing exactly what to do next. I focus on helping students understand why they miss questions, how to adjust their approach, and how to study more efficiently between sessions so their time and energy are not wasted.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy lifting weights, cooking, and exploring local restaurants in New Orleans. Because I never want finances to be a barrier, I offer a reduced rate for students who qualify for the AAMC Fee Assistance Program (FAP).

If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to structure your prep, I can help you create a clear and customized plan and start making measurable progress.

Biology

Biology

Incoming medical student with a 3.9 GPA from Tulane University, with extensive experience tutoring introductory and upper-level biology for pre-medical and life-science students. I focus on helping students master core biological concepts clearly and efficiently so they can perform confidently on exams. My background includes coursework and tutoring support in cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, physiology, biochemistry, and neurobiology, with an emphasis on understanding mechanisms and applying concepts rather than memorizing facts. I also scored in the 99th percentile on the Biology/Biochemistry section of the MCAT, reinforcing my strong foundation in core biological concepts and exam-level application. As a future physician, I explain biology in a way that connects details to bigger systems, which helps students retain information and apply it under exam conditions. My approach is highly personalized. I identify foundational gaps quickly, simplify complex processes step-by-step, and tailor explanations to each student’s learning style. Most students report improved clarity and confidence within the first few sessions, along with stronger quiz and exam performance. If you are struggling to keep up with biology or want a clearer, more intuitive understanding of the material, I can help you build a solid foundation and succeed.
MCAT

MCAT

Average MCAT Improvement: +6–8 points in ~10 hours. Many students reach 515+ (90th percentile or higher). Particularly strong results in CARS and test-taking strategy. I scored a 522 (99th percentile) on the MCAT and completed my preparation in three months using a fully self-directed, high-efficiency approach. Rather than relying on bloated, one-size-fits-all programs, I identified the most effective resources and strategies and mastered how to apply them under real test conditions. I now share these proven tools directly with my students to make their preparation focused, efficient, and results-driven. I have over one year of professional MCAT tutoring experience, including work with Kaplan, and have guided 100+ students one-on-one across all sections of the exam. I provide expert instruction in CARS, Psychology/Sociology, Biology/Biochemistry, and Chemistry/Physics. Many students struggle most with CARS, and it is one of my strongest areas for improvement due to my emphasis on reasoning, pattern recognition, and reading efficiency rather than memorization. My approach is highly personalized. Each student receives a custom study plan and test-taking strategy tailored to their baseline score, timeline, learning style, and goals. Most students experience meaningful improvement within the first three sessions and leave with a clear, actionable roadmap for continued progress.
Neuroscience

Neuroscience

Incoming medical student with a 3.9 GPA in Neuroscience from Tulane University, with extensive experience tutoring neuroscience, biology, and related pre-medical coursework. I specialize in helping students understand complex neurobiological concepts clearly and efficiently, rather than relying on memorization alone. My academic background includes strong foundations in neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, cellular and molecular neuroscience, cognitive neuroscience, and systems neuroscience, as well as their application to clinical and medical contexts. As a future physician, I emphasize not just what happens in the nervous system, but why it happens and how concepts connect, which helps students retain material and perform better on exams. My approach is highly personalized. I adapt explanations to each student’s learning style, clarify foundational gaps quickly, and focus on exam-relevant understanding. Most students report improved confidence and clearer comprehension within the first few sessions, along with better performance on quizzes and exams. If you are feeling overwhelmed by neuroscience material or want a clearer, more intuitive grasp of how concepts fit together, I can help you build a strong and durable understanding.

Saw CARS Improvement After Just One Session!

Chase was incredibly attentive to my concerns and helped me build a flexible study schedule that works for my goals. I’m a slow reviewer, and he really helped me work around that instead of rushing through material. After just one session, I already saw improvement in my CARS score. He’s supportive, strategic, and knows how to meet you where you are. Highly recommend!

Great CARS tutor

Chase has been super helpful in helping me approach the CARS section, which I know many other people struggle with. He is great at helping you understand difficult passages and seeing things in a different light, and his strategy really helps you understand the passages. Also, he is super patient if you don't get something right away, so I would highly recommend him if you are struggling with this section like I was.

Exceptional Tutor

Chase has been an incredible help in my MCAT preparation. He teaches different techniques for different problem types, and I immediately saw improvement after learning them. Regardless of the section, Chase breaks everything down clearly and patiently. He’s very good at identifying my weak spots and focusing on them during our sessions. I highly recommend Chase to anyone actively seeking to improve their score and do better on the MCAT!

Supportive and patient tutor

Chase is an amazing tutor. After our first consultation, where I shared my concerns and what I wanted to improve on, he already had a plan for how we’d tackle everything. I saw improvement after just one session using his CARS strategy, and I’ve felt more confident in my practice since then. He also helped me create a schedule for the next few months leading up to my test date, which helped alleviate my anxiety about what I needed to cover each day. He’s patient and knowledgeable when explaining content areas. I’d highly recommend him if you’re seeking a great MCAT tutor.

Supportive, Knowledgeable, and Strategic MCAT tutor.

I cannot recommend Chase enough for anyone preparing for the MCAT. He takes the time to explain everything clearly, no matter how small or complex the topic is, and always does so in a way that truly helps you understand the material. What really stands out is that he comes in with a clear plan—his sessions are organized, focused, and tailored to where I’m at in my studying. He’s also very adaptable, whether that means adjusting session topics or being flexible with scheduling. I’ve never once felt rushed or judged, even when I ask what might seem like a “dumb” question. He creates such a supportive and encouraging environment and always maintains a positive outlook on my potential MCAT score, which is incredibly motivating to hear. His approach and tips are truly invaluable, and it’s clear he genuinely wants you to succeed.

Highly Recommended Tutor

CARS had always been the section I struggled with the most on the MCAT, and no matter what I tried, I couldn’t seem to break through. Chase helped me completely rethink my approach from how I read the passages to how I tackled the questions. He explained things in a way that actually made sense, and he was super patient whenever I got stuck. We also went through different techniques till one finally clicked with me. After working with him, I finally saw my CARS score start to move up, and it made a huge difference in my overall confidence. Couldn’t recommend him more if you’re serious about improving your MCAT score.
