Wonderful tutor!
Gary has been indispensable in helping my daughter conquer her honors physics class this year. He works very hard to find convenient times to meet and has been able to explain the material to her clearly. After her last session with Gary she scored a 97 on an exam which was a clear improvement over her prior grades. Gary is just a wonderful tutor

Knowledgeable and patient tutor
Gary is tutoring our daughter in AP Physics (not Algebra). We have had two sessions so far and our daughter is very happy with Gary's patience and explanations. AP Physics goes fast and as Gary said, he is working on filling in the mortar between the bricks of topics they cover so quickly. We are very hopeful he will help her do much better in this course.

Excellent Tutor - Would certainly recommend Gary
Our son, on summer break from his university, was taking a Calculus 2 class at night at a local college and working full time at an internship during the day. He was attending every class, doing all the homework, taking the online practice exams and really studying hard. He is typically a very good student, across all subjects, but he just wasn't getting it. We were impressed with Gary's background and experience and the flexibility that he had with his schedule, including weekends. My son was more than halfway through this very short course and his grade was "fragile" at best. Gary filled in the gaps that the professor did not cover and explained the key concepts in a way that was much easier to understand and retain. After several sessions with Gary my son was able to approach the last exam with much better knowledge and confidence in the material and was able to successfully pass the course. We would highly recommend Gary.

Great Tutor - Very Patient and Easy to Understand
Gary P. is a great, patient and kind tutor! My daughter is understanding Physics much better! I wish we had contacted him sooner. My daughter only has two weeks left of school and told me she was struggling. Gary P. came and jumped right in to see how he could help her. He has tremendous credentials and is so down to earth. He is also very prompt to respond to emails and during sessions. Gary also has a gift of assessing the child and how they learn. Great tutor
Gary was immensely helpful in tutoring my son for college physics. He is a patient, dedicated and enthusiastic teacher with a wide array of demonstrations that really help to illustrate and simplify concepts that are otherwise difficult to grasp. He encouraged an understanding of the concepts beyond simple memorization. My son often surprises himself now by how capable he is in physics! He is certainly the best tutor my son could have asked for, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a better understanding of physics.

Great Tutor
We selected Gary from an extensive list of available Physics tutors in the area. After a few sessions, my son, an already A high school student, felt more confident on taking the AP Physics exam. Gary provided us feedback on various techniques that he could improve and methods to take him to the next level. Gary was pleasant to work with, prompt, easy to schedule, knowledgeable, and flexible. We started private tutoring only one month before the Physics AP exam, feeling like we needed to reach out for help. Gary was able to figure out my son’s strengths and work on his weaknesses, bringing him to a confidence and knowledge level to be ready for the AP Physics Exam quickly. My son did very well on the Physics exam, and it’s due to Gary’s great tutoring skills. We are still waiting for the results at this time, but we know my son did very well at that exam and also increased his physics grade easily to an A+ at school. We would highly recommend Gary and will definitely call him again if additional tutoring is needed. Thank you for all your help!
