I picked up the bass guitar when I was thirteen and began to teach myself how to pick up songs by ear with that. I found out it was the first four strings of the guitar. If I would sit and listen to the bass line, I could find out the chords to the songs which made it way easier. About a year later I picked up the acoustic guitar, learned the chords, and by this time I already knew how to pick out songs because of playing the bass. So I was already ahead of the game.

I started playing out at church, night clubs, cook outs, weddings, dances, and charity events. Pretty much everywhere. Then about 4 years later I went down to Nashville, Tennessee. I recorded some songs, which I still do now. I play back up for some bands here and there, which I enjoy immensely. I taught myself and I think everyone should teach themselves a little bit so they develop their own style. I'll teach you the same way I taught myself.
I think what makes a good tutor is patience, inventiveness, persistence, and generosity.
Get ahold of me and learn a few things about music. We'll work and learn through recording and jam sessions.
