I am an experienced tutor in which I have tutored both online and in-person for more than 5 years and 2 months at another tutoring company from kindergarten to professors and medical doctors to adult learners . In early February 2025, I switched to the Wyzant platform. I have tutored over 2000 students and over 12000 tutoring sessions for all types of situations in which I had a rating of 4.8/5.0. I have done 1 on 1 tutoring, small group tutoring (up to 15 students), K-12, undergraduate and graduate students, public K-12 schools, the top boarding schools in the country, community colleges, adult learners, both state and private universities, as well the top universities, including the ivy league schools, on the planet. Additionally, I have tutored students with types of learning disabilities including ADHD, autism, and dyslexia.

I tutor all STEM subjects through the graduate level as well as MBA classes, test prep from elementary school to industry professionals, LSAT, GMAT, as well as computer science classes.

I have now switched to the Wyzant platform. I break down each section in a way that is understandable for the student. One time, I had a student who went to school for dance and was living a career as a professional dancer. She ended up getting injured and her dancing career was cut short and decided to go back to school for physical therapy. She had to pass an Accuplacer test and was really concerned about the math section as her degree was in the arts. We literally went through a ton of practice problems step by step. She is now in physical therapy school.

Data Science

Data Science

I have a Ph.D. in engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, and I have been tutoring Data Science for over 5 years and 2 months at another tutoring company, I helped students at the undergraduate and graduate level in data science and machine learning classes. Many of the graduate students had bachelors degrees in arts and business and were obtaining certificates and degrees online. I helped students achieve their desired grade and understand the mathematics as well as the necessary coding and analysis of what the data produced. I found that students had the most difficulty with the math theory once they got a grip on the coding. One time I had a student with virtually no math background, and she really struggled with the linear algebra and calculus 3 concepts such as the gradient vector. We met a few times a week for the entire class and she ended up getting a B in the class.

GMAT

GMAT

I have been tutoring the GMAT exam for 3 years while at another tutoring company. O tutor all sections of the exam, although by far my students ask for help on the Quantitative section in both the math and data sufficiency questions. I actually go through a detailed approach to solve the problems rather than a plug in numbers that the test prep books advise. I have tutored students who desire to go to state schools as well as the top MBA programs. All of my students greatly increased their scores after spending time with me.
IBEW/ Electrician

IBEW/ Electrician

I look forward to tutoring you and helping you achieve your educational goals.
ISEE

ISEE

I have been tutoring students for all sections of the ISEE exam for 5 years at another tutoring company. I have tutored the lower level, middle level, and upper level exams numerous times. I have now moved to the Wyzant platform. During the first few sessions, I will go through a practice exam with the student to determine their strengths and weaknesses. The student will solve a problem and then I will go through it with them to show them how the college board would want to solve it. I will give students homework depending on what their weaknesses are and answer any questions that they may have. One time, I had a student's mother told me every session that her daughter had to get into the Kinkaid private school in Houston, TX. She really had trouble with the math section. We met for 6 months and her score improved drastically. In the end, she got into Kinkaid.

Extremely knowledgeable, and dedicated tutor!

I highly recommend Greg for tutoring. He is great to work with, dedicated and seems to love what he does. He is currently helping me with a college-level dynamics course, and it has been extremely helpful. Greg explains each step thoroughly, and often uses visual examples that deepen my understanding. He has the ability to breakdown complex concepts into understandable parts, which is very important to me when working with a tutor. I will continue to use Greg for any future classes too!
