My degree from the School for International Teaching emphasized experiential learning, meeting the student where they are, understanding cultural differences, and promoting bilingual education. I also speak some German, Spanish, and Yiddish, so I understand what it is like to learn a new language. I love learning languages, and I would like to share that joy with students. Learning English can open a lot of doors for students.
I am also well qualified to teach native speakers of English grammar, writing, reading and other high school/college prep academic skills. And I have experience teaching older people how to use technology. Currently, I am teaching a clinician how to use an electronic medical record cloud-based platform.
