I attended Lycoming College where I obtained my B.A. in Economics, as well as my Pennsylvania Elementary Education Teaching Certification. While studying at Lycoming, I volunteered with an after-school tutoring program. I worked as a substitute teacher for several years after graduating, while working with the YMCA Child Watch program, helping students with homework and tutoring needs.
