About Leslie

Teaching is a passion and learning is a thrill. As an educator with many years of experience in public school and now in higher education, I still love helping others learn and succeed. I always aim to help based on a learner’s individual needs.

Whether I work with you on-line or in person, I give careful attention to your current skills and wants in your preferred area of instruction. This helps to establish a comfortable working relationship to assist you in your learning goals.

As a current instructor in higher education for computers and English, I am well practiced in digital communications, writing, test preparation, and study skills. My experience is founded in my work as a long-time educator, freelance journalist, and now a specialist in professional development.

No matter your age, I have tutored across the generations; my youngest student is 7 and my oldest was a woman in her late sixties who learned how to use email.

Whether you want to learn Excel, prep for the SAT, or prepare a graduate essay, I am more than happy to help.
