Gabriella M.

Hi, I’m Gabriella. I’m currently a middle school ELA teacher in New Jersey and recently graduated from The College of New Jersey in Spring 2023. My literature specialties include Shakespearean literature, poetry, modern fiction, world literature, and children’s literature. I have a background in theater so I can help with public speaking as well. I’ve most commonly worked with students in middle school and high school.
As a teacher, I love being able to inspire a passion for reading and writing in the students that I work with. I believe that the truest form of learning comes from a passion about the material from both student and teacher as well as an encouraging environment that fosters constant feedback and support for the student. This environment is created by a willingness to learn from the student and collaboration between and support from both the instructor and the family. I strive to bring my passion for the subject with me so students can feed off of my energy and become excited about the subject as well.

I have experience tutoring middle school and high school students in English as well as teaching grades 7-12.
