Bio

Besides having taught Latin for a number of years, I have also developed websites that promote the learning of Latin and travel in Europe. I have also taught Spanish.

I received my advanced degree in England--from there it was easy to pop over to Italy ever couple of months. Nothing more exciting than flying off to Rome and arriving in about an hour! My study and teaching of Latin is enhanced by my cognitive psychology (specifically language acquisition and memory systems) research. And to...

And to top it all off, I have taught myself the programming language Perl and have practiced law in a variety of settings.

My PhD is in Classics with an emphasis on Greek Drama. I have taught Latin for several years to middle school, high school and some university students. I can help you or your student with this subject.

Tutor for all ages and levels of Latin. I hold a PhD in Classics from the University of Nottingham, England. I most recently taught middle school Latin full time in San Francisco. I have also taught high school and college. I work with the student and parent/guardian to determine the best strategy for tutoring sessions.

I have taught high school Spanish and have worked extensively with Spanish speakers. I regularly visit Guatemala and Costa Rica where I communicate in Spanish.
