Bio

Ian has a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from Bard College. He has worked in Set Design for theater and TV. He has been a gallery assistant, a curator, art director, went to set design school as a graduate student and returned to Boston University for a professional degree in financial planning. He has studied at the Sorbonne in Paris and taken French written and spoken composition, along with French philosophy, theater and film history. Ian has a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from Bard College. He has worked in Set Design for theater and TV. He has been a gallery assistant, a curator, art director, went to set design school as a graduate student and returned to Boston University for a professional degree in financial planning. He has studied at the Sorbonne in Paris and taken French written and spoken composition, along with French philosophy, theater and film history. He has worked in India as a liaison attache to Tibetan non government organization and American non government organization in English language studies as a teacher, in IT management, and government medicine and patient care. He has a Hospice certificate from Massachusetts and has worked in Pennsylvania as a home health aide. He teaches homeschool.

In college he wrote essays on Shakespeare, in English class we did Dante's Inferno, and General Philosophy classics such as Plato, Socrates, Kant, Hegel, Goethe, and Nietzsche. Along with writing for French Literature classics such as Voltaire and Camus, and Theater Moliere.

Ian worked at AXA Empire Financial in New York very briefly. The series 7 is one of the licenses to study for including other series Licenses such as the 6 and 66. He has spent lots of trips to pro-metric testing centers in both New York and Pennsylvania gaining his confidence, taking the series 65, Life Accident and Health exam, and waiting to begin his CFP exam in March 2018.
