I absolutely love teaching and helping students succeed! I have 4 years experience as a substitute teacher and in that time I have been working on my teaching certificate. I have completed a teaching program and will be certified to teach high school biology and middle school general science. My undergraduate degree from ASU is in Applied Psychology.

I have completed courses to be a certified teacher, I am only lacking my student teaching, and two of those courses were in teaching reading using phonics. I have used Phonics Steps to Reading Success by Pat Doran to teaching phonics skills. The last student I tutored using this phonics program went up by two reading levels.
