Hello! I'm Sean, and I have a B.S. in Environmental Science with a minor in geology and concentration in hydrogeology. I am currently a senior Geologist at an engineering firm with 7 years of experience in aquifer testing, groundwater contaminant plume mapping and modeling, environmental investigation and remediation, and associated field work. I started off in the field collecting environmental samples (soil, groundwater, air, etc.) and have been writing technical reports for environmental and geological sites for over 4 years.
I have tutored college students in the past, but after being immersed in the career field for years now, I much prefer sparking interest in earth sciences within this generation's youth. I played ice hockey goalie through college and coached kids from 8 through 16 years old for around 3 years before my studies got a little more extreme.
I have phenomenal social skills compared to other geologists/engineers and I've had to explain what I do for work for years now, so although I bring a ton of technical knowledge to the table, I am also very good at creating analogies and finding real-world examples to help people understand complex topics.
