Engineer helping people of all ages fall in love with STEM

I have a Masters degree in Sustainable Engineering. I also have a background in Environmental Engineering. I passed my Professional Engineer exam which's a really tough test. It shows that I have an understanding of the technical concepts and that I am really committed to the field of engineering.

I have studied a lot of math and science during my undergraduate coursework, graduate study and professional licensure. This has given me an understanding of the math and science that students learn at every level.

I have worked with students from school to college in different settings. I have done one-on-one tutoring, worked at tutoring centers. I have been a teaching assistant. The subjects I have experience with include Sustainable Engineering, algebra, chemistry, physics, fluid mechanics and soil mechanics. I have also helped students prepare for the FE and PE exams.

Working with different students has helped me figure out where they are struggling and how to help them. I always put my students first. When students struggle with Engineering or other STEM subjects I do not think it is because they are not able to learn. I think it is because they need an explanation that makes sense to them.

My goal is to help students really understand the material. I do not just want them to get through their assignments. I want to help younger students build confidence in math. I want to help engineering students understand difficult material before a big exam. I want every student to leave our sessions with grades and a real appreciation, for Sustainable Engineering and other STEM subjects. I want them to know what they can accomplish with these subjects.
