As a tutor, and soon to be teacher, I want to also keep learning as simple as possible using the “KISS” method of teaching - Keep It Simple Silly. I believe that breaking down difficult concepts into their simplest forms can make all students easily understand the topics they are trying to tackle. I have sat through many different classes where teachers or professors over complicated topics, making it hard for me to understand what was going on, which only made me have to go home and re-teach myself everything I learned. As a tutor, I want to make that “re-teaching” process easier for all students and help them take a step back and slow down the learning process to fully understand all concepts.
I will go over homework, practice problems, prior exams, or even look up practice problems to aid students in their learning.
