As an experienced Special Education Educator with over four years of dedicated classroom experience, I bring practical expertise and structured compassion to my tutoring practice. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education and am currently completing my Pennsylvania Special Education PK–12 certification requirements. In public school settings, I have worked extensively with students from early elementary through high school in whole-class environments, small-group interventions, and targeted one-on-one sessions. My background equips me to support diverse learners with academic, behavioral, and executive functioning needs, as well as adult candidates preparing for Praxis certification exams.

My teaching philosophy centers on diagnostic, data-driven, and multi-sensory instruction tailored to how each student processes information. When supporting core subjects like reading comprehension, written expression, and foundational math, I break complex standards into manageable, scaffolded steps. I utilize explicit instruction, visual organizers, and positive reinforcement to build academic competence and self-advocacy. For students with learning differences or attention challenges, I design customized routines that focus on organization, time management, and study strategies.
