Hi everyone, I’m so glad you’re here! My name is Claire and I’m so excited to begin working with you.
I majored an emergency medicine and minored in chemistry at the university of Pittsburgh. During my time at Pitt, I got my EMT and then subsequently my paramedic certification. I worked for a few years as a paramedic and took higher level critical care classes in flight paramedicine which taught me about aortic balloon pumps, ventilators, and flight physiology. I feel extremely comfortable with EMT and paramedic material and would be happy to help prepare you for the NREMT & NREMT-P. I worked as a field trainer at my service and precepted EMT and paramedic students and really enjoyed this.
Additionally, I took pre-medical coursework in biology, bio chemistry, organic chemistry, general, chemistry, physics, and anatomy and physiology. I am now a third year medical student and very interested in helping others. I want to teach people the way I would’ve wanted to be taught when I was earlier in my journey. I have done well thus far in my medical school coursework and therefore have a very advanced understanding of anatomy physiology and other medical based scientific topics.
