My teaching experience includes serving as an Organic Chemistry Laboratory Teaching Assistant at Thomas Jefferson University, where I helped undergraduate students work through mechanisms, synthesis logic, spectroscopy, lab techniques, and experimental problem-solving. I have also informally tutored peers in organic chemistry, general chemistry, biology, biochemistry, and MCAT preparation. In both settings, I focus on making difficult material easier to reason through rather than just memorize.
My tutoring style is structured and student-centered. I like to first understand how a student is studying, where they are getting stuck, and whether their mistakes come from content gaps, timing, passage reasoning, or ineffective review habits. From there, I help students build a realistic plan, review missed questions carefully, and develop repeatable strategies they can use on future exams. My goal is to help students feel more confident, more organized, and more capable of improving on their own.
