Bio

I’m a computer science and math student who specializes in SAT Math, and I’ve built my teaching style around clarity, strategy, and consistency. Over the summer, I taught full-day STEM courses at Lavner Education, independently leading classrooms of 4 to 15 students in subjects like robotics, machine learning, and chess. Managing that many students at once taught me how to break down complex ideas in a way that actually sticks, which I now apply directly to SAT Math tutoring. I scored a 1540 on the SAT with an 800 in Math, and I consistently score in the 770 plus range on official practice tests, so I have a strong understanding of how the exam is structured and how students can reach top results.

My math tutoring focuses on building intuition and reducing human error, which is usually what separates a great score from a perfect one. I use Desmos as a key part of my process. Not to replace real problem solving, but to check steps, visualize functions, and confirm answers with precision. Students learn how to verify their algebra graphically, interpret tricky word problems through simple plots, and use Desmos to avoid the small mistakes that normally drop their score. This helps students feel more confident and more in control, especially under timed pressure.

Overall, I try to make SAT Math feel straightforward. My style is very conversational. I walk through the reasoning behind questions so students understand the patterns the SAT uses instead of just memorizing tricks. Whether we are working on algebra, functions, geometry, or data analysis, I focus on showing students how to think through the problems in a clear and calm way. My goal is to help each student build a system that they trust, so their practice scores and real scores line up and they know exactly how to reach the score they want.

ACT Math

ACT Math

I scored an 800 on SAT Math and consistently hit 770+ on practice tests, and the core math content on the ACT is nearly identical. As a current high school student, I understand the modern test formats and can relate to what students are going through. ACT Math moves faster than SAT Math, so I focus heavily on pacing, efficiency, and eliminating careless mistakes under time pressure. I teach students how to recognize problem types quickly and use smart shortcuts so they can work through all 60 questions with confidence.
SAT Math

SAT Math

I scored an 800 on SAT Math and consistently hit 770+ on practice tests, so I know exactly how the exam works and what it takes to reach a top score. As a current high school student, I recently took the digital SAT and understand the modern format, pacing, and question styles that students face today. I use Desmos as a core part of my teaching to help students verify their work, visualize problems, and eliminate the human errors that typically cost points. My approach focuses on building real problem-solving intuition rather than memorizing shortcuts.
