I have heen teaching art lessons at Blick Art Store since June 2013. As a mentor/instructor she finds that treating each person as an individual while paying attention to their interests and skill level highly important in guiding anyone on their artistic journey. I also find that offering a mixture of art supplies helpful in finding where peoples' skills flourish. I find encouraging others to develop my own art skills is highly inspiring.
One of my students received full scholarship to Baum Art School. And two students placed 1st & 3rd Eyer Middle School Art Show 2015. Also, two years in a row one student placed 1st in multi school art competition. And another student at age 13 placed honorable mention at a Scholastic Scholarship Competition 2016, while another has gone on to teach pastel classes at a Senior Center.
