Hello, I just graduated from MIT (class of 2026) with a degree in physics and math, and I am excited to start tutoring on Wyzant. I have tutored math and physics for over 6 years at almost every level. Starting in high school, I worked at Mathnasium where I helped students in gradeschool master a variety of subjects, from algebra to calculus. During my time at MIT, I began tutoring for advanced level classes, including real analysis, electromagnetism, and quantum mechanics. I have also both been a grader and a teacher's assistant for electromagnetism at MIT. In my lessons, I like to make sure that my students have a strong intuitive grasp on the concepts from class as to promote understanding material over memorization. During a typical session, this could look like carefully going through a practice problem that the student had trouble with or giving physical intuition for abstract equations. During a typical lesson, I usually go over homework problems with a student or prepare for an upcoming exam, but I also have practice problems and suggested readings avalible for some subjects if the student is interested.
