I completed advanced coursework including Geometry through AP Calculus, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Literature, and AP Spanish. As a medical school applicant, I am passionate about education, mentorship, and empowering students to reach their academic potential.
I work with K–12 students as well as early undergraduate students, offering tutoring in math, science, Spanish, and writing. Writing was one of my strongest subjects in college, and I especially enjoy helping students with essays, personal statements, and college application materials.
I also provide ACT preparation, using strategies that helped me earn a 31 on the ACT, with a focus on reducing test anxiety and building effective study habits.
Additionally, I lived in Spain for nine months as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant with the U.S. Department of State, an experience that strengthened my language skills and reinforced my commitment to student-centered learning.
My tutoring approach is rooted in compassion, confidence-building, and adaptability. I tailor each session to the student’s learning style and frequently use the Socratic method to encourage critical thinking and independent problem-solving. My goal is not only to improve academic performance, but also to help students feel supported, motivated, and confident in their abilities.
