The SAT doesn't just test what you know. It tests your ability to recognize the patterns behind questions under time pressure. It rewards students who understand its rules, strategies, and common traps. My goal is to help students turn their existing skills into higher scores by learning how to approach the test with confidence.

I am a Schoolhouse Certified Tutor and a recent digital SAT test-taker who scored a 1510 overall with a 780 in SAT Reading & Writing and was recognized as a National Merit Scholar Commended Student. Because I recently completed the digital SAT myself, I understand the current test format, question types, and challenges students face today.

My tutoring focuses on helping students identify exactly where they are losing points and why. Rather than simply completing practice problems, we analyze mistakes, recognize recurring SAT patterns, and develop personalized strategies that students can apply across the test. For Reading & Writing specifically, I help students improve their understanding of passages, eliminate trap answers, and build the precision needed for higher scores. I provide all students with access to a bundle of helpful resources including handpicked practice questions, in-depth explanations, and more!

I have two years of experience working with students as a Kumon instructor, where I have taught students with a wide range of abilities and learning styles. This experience has taught me how to tailor instruction to the unique strengths and needs of each student.
