Hi I'm Jeremy! I recently graduated from Temple University with a bachelors of science degree in physics. My decision to study physics came from a deep desire to study and understand the natural world. I take great joy in sharing this knowledge with others! Mathematics is a universal language and the feeling of understanding how mathematics describes phenomenon, like the motion of an object subjected to gravity, is exquisitely satisfying. Science is elegant!

I tutored during my time in university, mostly in algebra but also in classical mechanics and electromagnetism. Since graduating I've tutored friends and family as well as students at the local community college where I am currently the physics and engineering lab technician.

I believe for students to truly grasp concepts with a deep understanding, they have to want to learn them. By making learning exciting and building a connection with students this is entirely possible. My favorite method to garner students interest is by providing real world examples of how things work. You might never use a polynomial after learning about it in your life but you might remember how they are used to describe projectile motion, like tossing a ball in the air.
