Hello I’m Evie. I graduate with a bachelors in youth ministry in psychology. In 2015 I graduated with my masters in Professional Counseling and working on my LPC. I have worked in the education system for over 10 years in a high school technology school. I was a substitute teacher that filled in for all the shop teachers, math teachers, and fitness teachers. I loved when I was given the opportunity to teach Math and was told I have a way of making math practical. I’ve been teaching behavioral techniques to all ages in and out of the school settings. I owned a Residential and commercial painting business (and still paint for some customers). I’ve been in management positions, since I was 19, ranging from food management to managing gyms and swimming pools. Teaching is a passion of mine and have no fears with Public Speaking. I’ve spoken in front of groups of 10 to 500 on various subjects and topics.
My goal is to help you become more educated and confident in whatever subject matter your studying or needing to master. I not only want to educate but encourage you to reach your potential. My clients tell me I’m easy to talk to and my students used to request me if they knew their teacher would be absent. I have a Masters in Psychology and have been working in this field for 23 years. I attend numerous trainings each year to continue my education.
I never get nervous to speak in public and want to help others become more confident. I also want to teach others how to be assertive, yet respectful when talking to other professionals in various settings.
I have counseled all ages for a variety of reasons. I’ve worked with prison, homeless, addiction, behavioral, aging, Autistic etc. populations with great success. I am hoping to teach on the college level soon and recognize it’s a crucial time in a persons life.
