Greetings, my name is Anthony! I am a resolute advocate for my students. I graduated college a certified English teacher before I decided to enter the business sector. I received an MBA, while working as a business professional. I have 15 years’ experience with a wide number of competencies that I can bring to my students. My specific areas of expertise include: business & small business management, project management techniques & tools, the entire Microsoft Office suite, communication techniques, and Proofreading & Writing.

In terms of formal tutoring experience, I taught briefly as a secondary English teacher, and I served as a college writing fellow. I mentored my peers with their writing one-on-one. As an MBA graduate, I can tailor what I have learned to your interests. If for instance, you want to learn how to start a business, I can tutor you on how to become an entrepreneur in a field you are passionate about. Lastly, I have experience training new employees to my organization, and I created the materials employees need to learn their new roles.

My method of teaching is always unique to each individual student. Everyone learns differently and lesson plans should reflect each student’s specific strengths as learner. The aspect of my teaching technique that separates me apart is my ability to not just explain but to listen. Successful tutors really hear where their students are coming from and synthesize lessons around their life experiences and who they are as people.
