Having taught Business English in Shanghai, I understand how necessary it is for aspiring businessmen and businesswomen to master Business English to communicate with clients, write and understand business documents/emails, and quickly understand news articles.
As a native English speaker, college graduate, teacher, and ex-business owner I have learned and mastered the vocabulary necessary to communicate effectively in English which I hope to pass onto you. I understand and utilize the best methods for improving your English because of my experience learning languages, (Mandarin Chinese + Spanish).
I studied business (with a specialty in marketing) at University of Pittsburgh for four years and ran my own business in Washington, DC for two years, which has provided me with the ability to quickly and efficiently process the technical information you see in news and business sites.
Outside of teaching, I read classic novels, photograph people, and constantly stay informed on current events, specifically China and The Middle East. Stay with me, and you will soar above your peers in one of the most difficult areas to learn.
