Bio

As a middle school math teacher, I have taught 6th grade math, 7th grade math, and 8th grade Algebra I. Along with gaining a positive attitude toward math, my middle school students have shown significant growth on their standardized test scores. I am certified in Elementary Education, Math and Science 4-8, and Business, Computer and Information Technology. I am extremely passionate about teaching and helping others.

**STANDARDIZED TEST PREP**
I am offering sessions on standardized test preparation. Throughout these sessions we will focus on the following:
-Becoming familiar with various formula sheets provided during state testing.
-Using the process of elimination.
-Using the CUBES strategy to break-down and solve real-world word problems.
-Completing practice problems from Standardized tests from previous years using an engaging platform.

I graduated from Kutztown University with a BS in Education and I am certified to teach Middle School Math. Currently, I am teaching 7th and 8th grade Math and Algebra 1 at an International Baccalaureate School which holds the students to high expectations one grade level above. I have a passion for math and my goal is to make learning fun while helping students reach their full potential.
