I am a creative and insightful thinker who is passionate about the arts in all forms. I am a graduate of the Master of Arts Program in the Humanities at the University of Chicago, where my coursework primarily focused on Film Studies, including both international and United States cinema. I received my liberal arts undergraduate degree from Dickinson College in 2021, majoring in English and triple minoring in Film & Media, Philosophy, and Classical Studies.
I served as an editor for Dickinson’s literary and arts magazine, which gave me extensive experience in writing, editing, and artistic curation. I have completed both creative and scholarly theses and participated in rigorous academic workshops, which included evaluating others' deeply personal and intricate work and giving thoughtful, intelligent, and balanced criticism to craft the best possible piece.
I love to help students improve their writing and narrative storytelling to achieve their goals. I encourage every student to believe in themselves, foster their strengths, and identify their true passions, with the objective of cultivating their sense of self, personal vision, and opportunities for the future. I have experience with workshopping and advising on high school and collegiate essays in a variety of subjects (I have a wide breadth of study), and I also taught K-3 students beginner Greek and Roman Mythology and Latin in a classroom format.
