Hi! I’m a friendly, patient math tutor who genuinely enjoys helping students make sense of material that once felt confusing or overwhelming. Whether you’re preparing for an exam, trying to boost your grade, or just want things to finally “click,” I focus on clear explanations, practical problem-solving, and building your confidence step by step. My goal isn’t just to get you through the next assignment—it’s to help you understand the why behind the math so you can tackle new problems on your own.
I hold a PhD in Mathematics and have over 15 years of experience teaching and tutoring students at the college level. I’ve worked with learners of all backgrounds and skill levels, and I know how to adjust my approach to fit the way you think. Whether we’re reviewing fundamentals or tackling more advanced topics, I bring both deep subject knowledge and a supportive, encouraging style to every session.
I've had experience tutoring students from a wide variety of backgrounds and abilities, from students with various learning disabilities to more advanced students. I use an active learning approach and style which I find most effective in making progress. I have a laid back, non judgmental personality and am easy to work with, I'm a good listener.
I can show you all the tricks and techniques that I've developed over the years to really learn, that is, internalize Math - to 'make it your own'.
In addition to the subjects listed, here are some additional areas that I am able to tutor:
Calculus (Calc1 and Calc2)
Singular Calculus
Multivariable Calculus (Calc 3)
Real Analysis
Complex Analysis
Abstract Algebra
Linear Algebra
Differential Equations
General Topology
Combinatorics
Graph Theory
Number Theory (undergrad)
Galois Theory
Formal Language Theory
Please contact me and we can have a brief meeting to discuss your needs and make sure all the technical stuff on the site is working for both of us before we begin an actual session.
I hope to hear from you soon !
