I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education, focusing on French, Spanish, and secondary education, from Grove City College in 1993. That degree included a semester of study in Amboise, France, where I lived with a French family and attended the Eurocentre school of intensive study in the French language and culture.
In the fall of 1993, I began my teaching career as a middle and high school teacher of French and Spanish in the Westmont Hilltop, School, District, in Johnstown, PA. I earned my Master of Education degree from Saint Francis University in 1999. I have enjoyed a very satisfying teaching experience during these many years, and I have worked with students as young as fifth grade, up through students as old as seniors in high school. For the past 10 years, my focus has mostly been on grades 9 through 12. This June, I plan to retire from that same school district with 30 years of professional education experience.
Even though I am retiring from being a day to day, teacher, I am still interested in being in involved in the education field and to continue to work with students. I am very much interested in helping you and/or your student improve French and/or Spanish skills
