I received my master’s degree in English and Creative Writing in 2017, and I am dual-certified in English and Social Studies. I have eight years of teaching experience in courses such as English 10 and 12, AP Literature, Drama, and Journalism. Additionally, I have experience tutoring students for standardized tests, including Keystones, PARCC exams, and SATs. My favorite thing about teaching and tutoring is seeing the look in students’ eyes when a concept suddenly make sense. Helping students reach that “light bulb” moment is what makes my work fulfilling. I also love getting to know students and helping them learn in ways that meet their interests!
English has been my favorite subject since I started elementary school. Books and writing are my passions, and my love for those things is what makes me an effective tutor. I enjoy English, and my goal is to help everyone find joy in reading or writing like I do!
