Hello and welcome!
My name is Osman, and I’m a nurse researcher with a passion for helping students navigate the academic demands of nursing and healthcare programs. I hold a BSN from Duke University, where I graduated summa cum laude, and a PhD in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University, where my research focused on improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice and rigorous data analysis.
Over the years, I’ve worked as a researcher and mentor at institutions including Johns Hopkins and in collaboration with NIH-funded teams, experiences that shaped my expertise in qualitative and quantitative research, statistical analysis, and scholarly writing. I’ve supported students at every level, from undergraduate BSN students to doctoral candidates preparing for dissertation defense.
With over 4 years of tutoring experience, I specialize in:
Capstone and DNP project development
Thesis and dissertation coaching
Literature reviews and systematic reviews
SPSS and NVivo data analysis
Academic writing and APA formatting guidance
Research proposals and IRB applications
My tutoring style is collaborative, clear, and supportive. I don’t just provide answers instead I guide my students through research design, data interpretation, and scholarly writing. I’m well-versed in APA 7th edition, Vancouver, MLA, as well as PRISMA and SQUIRE guidelines. I’ve worked with BSN, MSN, DNP, and PhD students in both one-on-one and group settings, including those who are non-native English speakers or returning to academia after time in clinical practice.
If you're looking for a dedicated, PhD-trained nurse researcher who understands the demands of nursing education, I’d be honored to support your academic journey. Let’s get to work!
